In a collaborative effort to promote environmental consciousness through yoga, Janitri (KRB Foundation) in association with Kindergarden Preschool, Kaustav Engineering, and WICCI Asian Council organized a drawing competition on June 21, 2024. This event, complemented by an online campaign, aimed to educate youth on the benefits of integrating eco-friendly practices with holistic yoga principles.
The drawing competition provided a creative platform for children to express their understanding of sustainable living through art. Participants explored themes such as practicing yoga in natural settings, using eco-friendly materials, and embodying yoga's principles of harmony with nature. Their artwork not only showcased artistic talent but also conveyed powerful messages about environmental stewardship and mindfulness.
"We believe in instilling environmental awareness from a young age," said Nilakshi Goswami Baruah, Director of Kindergarden Preschool. "This competition was an opportunity for children to creatively explore how yoga and sustainability intersect."
